Mostly during the last week, it snowed quite a lot and I spent several hours with visiting a few different locations nearby. Now, it's gotten warmer and all of it seems to vanish again. Nonetheless, I remember well hiking in there, especially early in the morning often all on my own with no one else in sight. There is something special about it if everything around vanishes in a proper whiteout. At times, it's only the slight shadows of trees like this which appear in the mist, and can guide the way as a small hint.
